Baby's first piece of artwork!
Margot is in the process of transitioning to her new classroom at daycare -- where there are more activities, like finger painting! I am filled with pride that I have my baby girl's first piece of art on my fridge! Her new teacher sent me these second two photos.
She is a ball of fun -- on the subway on the way home, she has now decided that she needs to hold on to the pole, just like everyone else around her, so she will squirm her arm out of the carrier to reach for the pole to hold on, just like mommy. It is so funny. Also, she has taken an interest in holding the dog's leash when we walk from her carrier too...9 months old and already walking the dog.
This past Sunday, she took her first few steps...not very steady and just a couple before diving forward, but her first few steps without holding on to anything nonetheless! All she wants to do is practice standing and walking. It's been a bit difficult to get her to bed the past few nights... mommy is tired, so good night!

9 months old!
WOW! I can't believe Margot has been an "outside baby" as long as an "inside" one! I don't have updated "stats" - we go to the doctor on Monday, but I'll be sure to post when we do.
Margot now has four teeth, two on top and two on bottom. She's pulling up to stand on her own, and is "cruising" along on our couch and other furniture...walking soon I think! She's eating teething crackers, little puffs and a rice cake so far. She had a great two weekends with both sets of grandparents, whom she adores, as well as her Cioci and Great Aunt Therese! She waves too.
To sum it up, she is super cute!!
